We left Dalhart Sunday morning a little after 9:00 a.m. with brisk temperatures. It was a beautiful ride across Texas and into the state of New Mexico. We rode the enchanted circle up over Bobcat Pass (9800') then through Red River, arriving in Taos NM around 2:30 p.m. I rode out to the Rio Grande Gorge bridge. This is an awesome hole in the ground, with a bridge you can drive over. Then I rode up to the Taos Ski Village (9200'). There was quite a bit of snow on top of the pass and in Taos Village, and it was quite cold. Thank goodness for heated clothing!!
The picture with this post was taken on the enchanted circle.
Tomorrow's night stop is in Blanding, Utah, after riding through Monument Valley.
Talk with ya Monday evening.
